Please read on for a message from RBK regarding the Murray House site on Acre road
Dear all,
Thank you so much for your patience as we work to bring forward more detailed designs for the Acre Road (Murray House) site. We’re now in a position to provide you with more of an update and invite you to the first set of engagement events we’re hosting.
Since I last updated you, we have been working with our external design and consultant team, as well as internal colleagues to create our initial proposals, with the aim to:
Creating 40+ homes for older people and those with learning disabilities
Providing genuinely affordable new homes, at social rent levels
Meeting the specialist housing needs of vulnerable residents
Regenerating an existing, well-located and vacant site
Securing a highly sustainable design
Creating new private and public landscaping for residents and the local community to use
To find out more about the proposals and let us know your thoughts, we would be delighted if you could join us at one of the upcoming engagement events:
Saturday 28th October, 11am - 3pm
Thursday 2nd November, 4pm - 7pm
Both events will be at The Pixton Room, Units 5-7 Canbury Business Park, Elm Crescent, Kingston-upon-Thames, KT2 6HL. We’ll be sending the attached invitation leaflet out locally and would be happy to deliver copies to you for people to take if that would be helpful.
The information to be displayed at the exhibition will shortly be placed online at ww.transformkingston.co.uk/acreroad alongside a link to the online engagement once the events have started on the 28th October.
If you would prefer to have a discussion on the proposals separately, or you are unable to attend either session, please let me know and I'll be happy to arrange a meeting for us.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments at this stage, otherwise I look forward to seeing you at one of the engagement events soon.
Many thanks
Max
