Canbury Ward - Neighbourhood Watch Update 4th Feb

Here's the latest from the Canbury Safer Neighbourhood Team.


Two males were stopped by Police on Deacon Road acting suspiciously on Tuesday 28th January.  After giving false details, the males were identified by their finger prints at the scene and one of the males who was wanted for Burglary was arrested.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously call Police at the time on 999 or 101 if non urgent.


On Wednesday 30th January, officers in plain clothes were patrolling in Canbury ward, they stopped a male who was found in possession of class A drugs. The male was arrested and charged to Magistrates Court.

Cycle Theft – Sury Basin

A number of cycle thefts have been reported in the area of Sury Basin. Please remember to secure your bicycle and register the serial number with
