Canbury Carpark planning development

Amendments to the Canbury Car Park planning application 19/02323/FUL have now come forward for your additional comments. 2nd July is the deadline for comments. Below are details from the North Kingston Forum.

This is a hybrid application covering 2 distinct sites:

A detailed application for Canbury Place car park and 12-52 Kingsgate Road for the demolition of the existing buildings and the erection of two buildings to provide residential apartments (use class C3), office space (use class B1a), nursery/ offices (flexible use class D1/B1a) and gym/offices (flexible use class D2/B1a) with associated access, parking and landscaping arrangements, including the stopping up (closure) of Kingsgate Road; and an outline application, with all matters reserved except access, for 13-43 Richmond Road for the demolition of the existing buildings and the erection of a building to provide residential apartments (use class C3) and retail space (use classes A1-A3).

  • Reconfiguration of proposed nursery area and increased play provision
  • Entrance relocation of non-res. to increase access to public realm
  • Reconfiguration of residents communal area on 11th floor
  • Changes to facade
