Coronavirus Community Support
In response to the ongoing coronavirus situation, BRaG is encouraging the local community to support each other and ensure that our neighbours who suffer as a result of this outbreak are looked after and not forgotten.
Please consider the following:
- Think about your neighbours; is there someone who is elderly or sick or someone who lives on their own?
- Get in touch and reassure them you are there to help if necessary.
- Give them your contact details and the details of anyone else who is able and willing to help.
- Ask them to sign up to the BRaG mailing list and the WhatsApp group for your road so that they can receive any local news necessary.
- If they don't have access to email or WhatsApp, please try and keep them updated.
- Speak to your neighbours and ask them to do the same.
- In the event that any of your neighbours cannot leave the house, please offer to help with their shopping and any other necessary tasks which they cannot do themselves. Use our handy card to let them know what you can help with.
If you do not live on one of the BRaG (Burton, Richmond Park and Gibbon) roads, you are more than welcome to join the nearest WhatsApp group to you. However, to ensure the people on your road receive relevant information, we ask you to consider setting up your own group if one isn't listed below.
If you are thinking of setting up your own group and require assistance please contact us. Please also forward the invite link so we can post it here on the BRaG website and communicate the details via the mailing list.
